He was honest and set my expectations straight, and delivered very promptly. I'll still have to put an area rug over it when entertaining (that's the nature of a patch job, as the varnish can't match the exact color of wood after it's been lightened by the sun), but I'm confident over time it'll fade and work out. Cip made time to come over and see the apartment at 8:30pm on a Thursday to confirm the square footage. He showed us broken boards that needed to be fixed and a couple other items. You could instantly tell that he has been doing this for a long time and knew exactly what he was doing. He confirmed the price and told us when he could start. He confirmed the pricing and details over email with me before he started and sent a follow-up text to confirm the night before. 1 day before they started we decided to add another entire kitchen and bedroom. Cip worked with us on the price and had no problems adding it in. Even with this last minute addition, Cip and team completed everything far faster than anticipated. He arrived 2 minutes early (6:28am) and began right away. He kept us updated the entire time if there were additional boards to be fixed, and sent progress pictures every step of the way (which were nothing short of amazing). His price was extremely fair and you cannot beat the quality. He did NOT cut corners. They sanded 3 times and applied three coats of finish. He knew how short the timeframe was before furniture delivery and worked tirelessly to get it done quickly. He followed up with me to make sure we were pleased with the work and provided care instructions for the movers and future care.

The house feels and looks fresh and bright. They glued the loose boards and without nailing a thing, they were able to stabilize most of the creakiness. (I was thankful because the other way was to break through the plaster ceiling in the basement and work bottom-up or nail down through the floor and potentially risk electrical wires. Ciprian made great suggestions and we were glad to follow his recommendations. We won't need a refinishing again for 5 or 10 years, but when we do, this is our guy!

We quoted with a lot of places but they were ridiculously overpriced. We just needed to polish and stain the floor...not install a new one by the looks of the competitors prices!
